Leah is active in the local chapter of a police union, is the Washington State Coordinator for Moms For America, and has two published children's books (Police Man Daddy and Police Officer Mommy, both available on as well as a women's fiction/young adult novel (From Day One, available ). She also grew up as the daughter of a police officer in California. She is now a homeschooling mom living with her husband, who is still serving as a police officer, and their three children.
Before that, she was an intelligence analyst in the US Army. She served for three years at the Oakland Police Department, and just under five at the Vancouver Police Department in Washington State. By the grace of God, she survived a horrific accident on the job. Leah Anaya is a medically retired police officer.
